Kovner Scholars Program

A New Scholarship Program for Exceptional High School Students

Emet Classical Academy is excited to announce the inaugural Kovner Scholars program, a unique 4-year scholarship for exceptional students entering 9th grade. The Kovner Foundation has created similar scholarship programs dedicated to promoting excellence at some of the world’s preeminent educational institutions. We are proud to be a beneficiary of the Kovner Foundation’s extraordinary philanthropic vision, and to partner with them to ensure that outstanding students are able to receive an Emet education regardless of financial circumstances.

  • Kovner Scholars will receive either full tuition or half tuition for all four years of high school at Emet Classical Academy (9th to 12th grade).
  • There are a select number of Kovner scholarships available for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year and the deadline to apply is June 30, 2026.
  • Kovner Scholars will be selected based on academic excellence, leadership potential, and genuine curiosity about the best of Jewish, Western, and American civilization. Consideration will also be given to financial need.
  • Kovner Scholars will participate in a special academic and extracurricular set of programs, combining honors tracks, unique cultural experiences, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Our selection process will include a full application to Emet, an additional short essay, and a series of interviews with our senior academic team and Emet’s Chairman Eric Cohen.
